Fred and Red’s is a Joplin Staple – being the original purveyor of the often imitated, never duplicated Spaghetti Red. The shop has been a fixture on Main Street since 1923, moving south from it’s original location onto property reportedly won by the owner in a poker game! If you find yourself on Route 66, a stop at Fred and red’s for an authentic plate of Spaghetti Red will be in order.
